Going to the "other" Spoleto is on my bucket list.

I've heard great things about Savannah, I'd like to check it out someday.

Got home early, did both treadmill and weights, now rewarding myself with a little whisky before dinner. The PWO drink of champions.

Also the Borgata ruled last night. That was pretty epic.

I'll be in those parts in June. Booked the flight today. Naturally, more excited about going to that one.

Unfortunately, its author has only been waitlisted to PhD programs.

Tonight my department hosted a well-known philosopher, who gave a lecture as part of an endowed lecture series. It was I who proposed and advocated for this particular speaker, and it turned out great.

On the other hand, I am sick and tired (in the literal sense) and I have to get up early to catch a flight tomorrow.

My daughter won second place in this year's science fair at her school. This makes 3 years in a row of 1st or 2nd place finishes.

For this non scientist Dad I am very proud.

Well maybe you should go let those programs know about your article.

Saw a most excellent production of the play Proof tonight at the Court Theater. Had great reviews so it was quite lucky to be able to go for free.

If anybody's in chicago between now and april 7th, I'd suggest checking it out.
