I was reading something that based upon the nature of your return they will not even start processing for a protracted period. I think the EZ filers are fine but I think if your return is a little more complex it is supposed to take longer due to the latest D.C. stand off between the parties.

Yeah, some additional forms they don't start processing right away - for instance I took the lifetime learning credit (for a wine class I'm taking ) so my return was delayed a few weeks. If I had just taken the deduction it would have been processed right away.

I think I saw the sun in the sky today.

 

My state got in yesterday, took less than a week.

 

Federal is still out there.

Some of the things making me happy (and thankful) right now:
-Paying off some credit card debt!
-finally got a mirror shine on a couple of shoes (boy, that takes some elbow grease!)
-flying off to attend he wedding of a good friend - he was very ill, and now he's better
-being able to train again, after a year of training through injuries

Going for my first physical in five years at the end of the month...hopefully, will be even happier after that!
