Glad to see the new job at Cosi is working out for you, don't worry, you will be off the weekend night shifts as soon as you have paid your dues.

If you had said Panera this would have been a home run.

My brother is getting married this May, and the two sides of the family met for the first time this weekend. Everyone got along well, which makes me very happy. I don't care all that much for my own sake (frankly, I probably won't deal with them that much), but I would hate to hear my mom complain about them every time we talk on the phone!

Björksucks and is horribly overrated. White people like them because she has those two dots on top of the letter O in her name. Also, it's impossible to dance to Toni Basil so they'll never be forced to dance as long as it's playing. They can, however, sing "Mickey" and do all other sorts of white people dancing substitutes. mwink[1].gif

Kind of perfunctory business casual. Also initially she would also describe her living situation with "we" and "us". I figured she was playing the pronoun game to avoid bringing up her orientation. Anyway yesterday she told me she went into the ladies room on another floor and somebody in the stall yelled, "Hey!! this is the women's room, get out!!" She said she was like, "Um, I'm a woman" and the woman in the stall was silent. It is funny because she probably saw her clothes through a crack in the stall, or her shoes and assumed. Her face is clearly a woman though. I just think it is funny because she had no idea why this woman would think she was a man, but it was totally obvious to me.

But yeah, she's not a lesbian and she isn't a man.

They just don't get it, those damn extroverts. It's tough being an introvert in a society that rewards extroversion so much.

I'm going to forward this article to him: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2120187/Revenge-introverts-Its-assumed-extroverts-best-life-new-book-claims-quite-opposite-.html

Had a great Sunday with the extended family. Gathered at the tree farm, rode four-wheelers, grilled, talked a bit. Cousin passed his board exams, I'm thrilled for him. Tried some artisan cupcakes and admit they're better than their reputation around these parts (i.e., Satan in small paper cups). More importantly, I survived solo-parent weekend and now just a week remains until the wife is back home.

Also: grilled more chicken, smoked another pork end, cooked beans and have some quick-cook veggies ready for this weeknight's dinners. Funny, we fare better when the Mrs. is away and I'm doing the planning.

Haha, nah. I did do some studying for GMAT's. Yesterday was such a nice day I did a lot of walking around my neighborhood, which has been hard because it has been brutally cold. It was refreshing. I bought two new albums, played a lot of guitar, and found one of my favorite value bordeaux's at this discount wine place where I got an excellent deal on a lot of them. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

So there is this old black guy who is a therapist and I imagine he is a very good therapist because whenever you bump into him in the hallway he is in such a good mood (but not like, sugary or bubbly just supremely happy) that you are put in a good mood. Anyway, I just bumped into him.

Tell him to watch where the fuck he is going bumping into people all of the damn time.
