I'm thinking about signing up for this thing where you put in $150 and if you lose 10% of your bodyweight in 6 months, they give you $300 (your 150 + another 150). I usually gain weight in the winter when I'm not racing bikes and I've been working a ton so it has been especially bad the past month...I don't own a scale but I would guess I am at 6'2 and 200lbs right now and will probably be 185lbs in August without trying...so it shouldn't be hard to hit 10% if I eat/drink a bunch before I weigh in now and then make sure I cut right before weigh in in August.

TL;DR - I'm also going to buy a whole bunch of bacon this weekend.

From now on I'm saying Magalhães instead of Magellan, even when I'm not speaking Portuguese. If anyone doesn't like it, they can unfriend me.

the Mrs. floated the idea of leaving town today - two days early. I have to admit the idea is growing on me. She's stressing really badly now.

I would like the above post but it might creep people out so I'm just going to say something nice about Mrs. Thomas's early break. Good choice Mrs. Thomas, I'd like to leave early for the trip Mr. and Lady Canuker are planning also.
