I've got an interview next week for a part-time job on campus. The position entails teaching several classes each week to freshmen about the university/college life and being available to them as a sort of mentor role if needed. It isn't a whole lot of money, but I do think this will be a cool experience if I get it. I've faced quite a bit of adversity throughout college--much of which I would not anyone else to have to deal with--if I could help out one student, that would be pretty cool.

The next time somebody asks you if you know someone who makes delicious beef jerky you look that motherfucker right in the eyes and say, "Fuck yes, I do. Harvey Fucking Birdman."

i think my stomach bug has passed. yay!

On Red Eye, Andy Cohen just called USA Today "America's High School Newspaper." I cannot stop laughing.

How could there not be any for nearly a month in a city as large as St. Louis? This surprises me, but then again, I can never count on my local CVS or Walgreen's to have what I need when I need it.

I don't know the answer to that. I asked people at various stores, and they told me that they stopped receiving shipments. Interestingly, they still had Lactaid milk. What I actually found at Target was not Lactaid pills, but their own in-house version. It must be new, because it wasn't there last time I checked.
