When LowerCaseG was here, he spotted them and loved them, and she must have taken note of this because there was a big Tonka bulldozer on my desk when I walked into work today. It seems my coworker found it with some toys she'd bought at some point for her nephew to play with, and she thought my son would enjoy it. The thing looks brand new; I wouldn't have doubted it for a second if I'd been told it's right out of the box. In any case, she's right - I know he'll love the toy, and I thought it was very kind of her to do something like that for him.

I have a pretty cynical view of people, but I'm always touched by unexpected kindness, especially when it's to children.

thats awesome. it also reminds me of this. not your kid, just the idea of trucks on an office desk.

I was told of a way to make the time between pushing a button on the remote control and the cable box responding shorter. I will try it tonight.

That's the worst part about cable boxes.

I have never owned one and whenever I am at someone else's home and have to use the remote to change channels, I am like wtf? (but I guess that's what you have to do if you want all those channels?)

Hey MrG--good luck.

It seems unlikely I'll be moving anytime this year now so we can become BFFLs!

We know you hate soft balls.

I put this little display together the other day and put it next to my bed and the chair where I spend hours reading. Unfortunately I've had to keep myself busy the past few days to not get sad about stuff so I haven't been able to enjoy the aroma or sight but a photo sort of works.

I also put another bouquet together but it isn't anything really special. I at least have the concept of varying heights and textures down OK.

Fuck, I can't believe a straight dude likes fucking flowers as much as I do. fml

So when you decided to intimate for the second time today that I am really gay you thought you would follow that up with your emo flower arranging? I do believe you are flirting with me.

Well you seem to be the expert on homosexual mating patterns, I will defer to you. Am I gay flirting?

I tried some greek yogurt made in Atlanta. It wasn't very "greek" seeming...very smooth and creamy and rather sweet, but it was very good.

Had to buy the Maple-Bacon and Vanilla-Caramel flavors.

I'd be lying if I said doing something like this hasn't crossed my mind. The dozer is currently sitting on the front of my desk, and I have to keep fighting the urge to push my papers around with it.

Evidence? You seem to be the one making constant reference to the homosexualists, not I.

Was it Atlanta Dairy with the cow on the logo? They do good stuff, fresh mozz, butter...
