this and goths. I had a phase in my 20's where I would take pictures of random goth kids I'd see on vacations (from all over places like singapore/thailand/ and even south america). And the goths were always super nice/friendly.

Goths can actually be quite cute when you remove all that make-up.

Thanks, me too. I was debating whether or not to go straight to the landlord, but now I'm really glad I gave them the benefit of the doubt and went to them first.


Yeah, actually one of my close friends plays in a metal band. He's married to one of my wife's friends, and when I first met him, I thought there was no way we were going to get along--full sleeve tattoos on both arms, beard, plays in a metal band... Pretty much total opposite from me. But he's got his head screwed on straight, and is one of the nicest people I've met.

Last update on this, I promise. My ex-gf who had open-heart surgery is recovering very well. Also, we are exchanging pleasant messages through Facebook, which makes me happy.
