snow ball fights are the forgotten identical twin of tickle fights.... it always starts fun... then turns into someone screaming in anger. In my defense the snowball was supposed to hit my wife in the back of the head [she was wearing a heavy assed hooded jacket], but she turned around and got hit flush in the face. lol8[1].gif

I don't guess it was you screaming in anger, then. laugh.gif

icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif indeed.

Old Thomas is starting to re-emerge. Running again, making progress on my studies and handling the parenting chores single-handedly these days. If the Mrs. can just pass the bar in about 3 weeks, things get much easier.

Hope she passes and Old Thomas settles in for good.

Picked up a pair of captoes from the cobbler, looking great. And received a Modern Tailor shirt 10 days after ordering it. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Modern Tailor is great -- if you can get your sizing profile right.

After several tries with them, I have given up because there's always something off. Now I just get BB ESFs and get them tailored.

Well, today was the second-round interview, and I killed it. It was a presentation to seven people from the department, and I had to basically create a proposal based on a bunch of information they sent and then present it to the group as if it were real. It really couldn't have gone much better.

After it was done, the division manager, who was the guy I interviewed with the first time and did most of this talking this time, walked me out of the room. While we exchanged the requisite, "it was great to see you again" and "thanks for coming/having me," he started telling me what a great job I did with the presentation. In fact, he told me I "knocked it out of the park." He also said that he had all of the answers to the questions in the presentation that he compared to my materials - basically a bunch of cost estimates and such - and I got every one of them correct.
I don't know if this ends up with me getting the job or not, but, damn, that was nice to hear. At the very least I know that there's not something I could have done to better my chances.
