today was just a great day.

The secretary from Foreign Languages asked my department secretary "Who is that guy from your department who always dresses so nicely?" My department secretary told her it was me. (She said my name IRL, but most of you don't know my name, so there'd be no point in telling the story that way, you know?)

I was happy to see for the past several days that Mafoofan was on the top poster ticker when I came to this site.

Refreshing to see that, thought it seems its back to the norm now....

Almost forgot went to the dentist today zero cavities for the 28th year in a row.

I have lived 24 years with zero cavities.

Squats are an excellent excuse for being handy.

My bag restoration is coming along pretty well. I gave the brass a little steel wool just now, but I'm going to polish it better tonight and then keep at the leather with some conditioner until it's nice and soft.

Pissing me off: Owed the great State of New York $7. Still hurts to pay.

How do you people get refunds anymore? Even with deductions the fucking bloodsucking government always wants more from me.

I'm hoping for a crap ton back. Two houses last year, one moved to rental status, take zero deductions plus an extra $400 a paycheque....should work out.

making me happy: soooo I have a retail business plan in mind since late last year, except with the expenses I have right now I just didn't push through with it plus I'm not inclined to compromise my time in my regualr day job. anyway, I decided to give it a go or at least try making contact with suppliers for my idea, and I got a few positive responses. considering it's all just a concept I was surprised some wanted to either meet me, asked me to correspond again once it gets going, and for one supplier- even agreed to make me a dealer even if I'll just end up selling from the trunk of my car.

then with the main issue of funding this thing: several people whom I like and I feel would be of help to this business plan are now on board. and I think we have enough capital to start planning and all that. the partners are actually more excited about my concept than me. I really hope this pulls through.

That's awesome E! I think selling kickstand-dildo's out of the back of your trunk is a bit sketchy, but hey, if they'll buy it there then they'll buy it anywhere.
