Mr Clean Magic Eraser!

Seriously...There has been a burnt on grease spot above both pilot lights on my shitty stovetop ever since I moved in years ago. No amount of scrubbing has ever been able to completely eliminate them (and I didn't want to upgrade from the blue scrubby to the green one since there was already evidence of some enamel damage). Someone suggested I try a magic eraser and I figured what the heck...sounds like a gimmick but it might work.

It seriously came off in minutes with no effort. The thing even seemed to work *better* when there was less pressure applied to it.

those erasers seriously are the best.

i dunno if its psychological but i dont see how it can be any better at cleaning random shit off than a regular eraser -- they should all be made of the same materials, RIGHT?!

after all, regular erasers work well in rubbing off sticker residue.

ten years ago today I was at the hospital. my wife was in induced labor since the previous night because the umbilical cord was found to be wrapped around the baby's head. suffice to say it was a scary moment- specially for the wife... she was a nervous wreck and when she was placed on that metal bed it shook like crazy. she was wheeled in around 10:00 am and I waited outside with a couple of good friends who stayed with me. at exactly 1:09pm we had our first child. a girl. it was definitely a freaking wonderful feeling first time you see your first child. every cynicism, every uncertainty you feel, every doubt you might have are all forgotten that moment and you can only smile like you've never smiled before. today acidkid #1's ten years old- and the big question that's been bugging everyone is- how could someone so wonderful be related to me?

magic erasers are the best on bike frames too. sometimes they even remove scratches (that are just caked on/dried grease sludge). mix in a solution of dishwashing liquid (or simple green) and rub a damp magic eraser on a dirty/greasy frame and be amazed.
