I am having a team meeting in sunny cartegena, the next week working 4 hours a day and then drinking with my distriubors and their sales people, hanging out on the beach, by the pool etc. today, trying to clear my in box before the meeting starts, I'm sitting by the pool, surounded by young augmented women in string bikinies, drinking umbrella drinks and processing email. its 32 celcious by the way, with a nice wind.

@ Patrick and Why,
You should try these petit Euro bagels, they are pretty good.

I have and no they aren't. They're imitation Lender's.

Now you have gone too far. Jewish NY bagels are pure carbohydrate deliciousness.

Clearly you never had pastries or bread from New York.

I've heard that said here before and I'd be willing to give one a try but at the moment they rank up there with idfnl's bigfoot.

Have you tried a NY bagel and disliked it, or were you just talking out of your ass?

I got an impromptu tax question on an ex-employee's situation, and after a few moments I came up with 1) the notification requirement, 2) the form that covers our issue, and then 3) some insight into the ex-employee's tax issue and why her perceived need wasn't such a dire requirement. I felt pretty damn good about that.

Seriously, sounds fun. I've had to cut back on my sports since kid and marriage, and my gut has been the worse for it.
Making me happy: My new work computer setup. I replaced my laptop and desktop simultaneously with a single Windows 8 touch-enabled ultrabook thingie, docked to a huge monitor for a 2-screen work setup, and right now everything is running smoothly.

I love having my setup consist of a laptop docked to a monitor. It's great. If you need to go to a meeting/bring work home it's as easy as pushing a button.
