Already did smile.gif I'm sad for the family that is no doubt really upset about their dog being missing but I'm really happy that the dog is safe. Lord knows my gf is going to get attached to the poor thing...

Hello old buddy, old pal.

I'm posting this here because I know how shitty it is to lose a pet; hopefully I am able to make somebody's Christmas by returning their dog safe and sound. My GF just finished school for the holidays so she will be able to be a foster parent for awhile at least.

Can anyone comment on the breed? I don't know anything about dogs, and my girlfriend is stumped too.

Aww, good for you man. That's really something. Post the pic in the dog thread in GC. Maybe Lefty or Jan will be able to help you figure it out.

Was fucking EXHAUSTING, especially considering the fact I walked home hammered last night for two hours and got home at 4 AM. But regardless, I'm glad it's Saturday -- gonna hit up a brand new Peruvian restaurant that opened up recently with some coworkers and get hammered, AGAIN!

Good for you sparky. Keep posting shit like this and maybe the forum will start to change its image of you as a self-entitled, spoiled twat.

halfway through dinner woody allen and his wife-daughter walk in with two friends.
some time later daniel boulud himself comes in and starts talking with the french speaking table next to us. i tried very hard to stare.
service was honestly some of the best if not the best i've ever received. our waiter asked us what brought us here and we casually mentioned it was a self indulgence that we saved up for and a kind of congratulations for finishing a semester and they gave us an extra dessert of apple sorbet and something with congratulations written on it. i also like that they gave us the menu for that day. the other parts of the service were perfect and perfectly coordinated and the timing of the meals was just superb. its like they telepathically know what you're thinking
some of the best food i've ever had.
i am quite happy

Looks like a Japanese Spitz maybe. Good work on the rescue.

Jarude, be very careful here. That is actually a rattlesnake. I don't want you to die in your sleep from its poisonous bite. God speed.

Good point, we haven't heard her bark even once

She's really cute.

Little Genevieve has advanced renal failure. She has looked so bad that on Wednesday, I didn't even know if she'd make it through the night. The last two days, though, she's looked very good. I know her renal failure is not going to just correct itself all of a sudden, but it's nice to see her looking so good.

One side effect though: after her bout of really bad health, she's developed a new personality as an old-school southerner (or rather her stereotype of an old-school southerner.) This morning she said "News fer ya, nah awn I'm t'be known as Thetus." (For some reason, she thinks Thetus is a traditional southern name.)

im glad she is doing well, considering. sorry that she is so ill.

Has she taken an appreciation in the Oakridge Boys yet? Or is she more of a Skynyrd kind of girl?

Somehow she got it in her head that there's a big feud between the Oak Ridge Boys and the Statler Brothers. She takes the Statler Brothers side.
