I always think I am running out of soap, so I buy more. But then I always discover that I had plenty of soap. So now I've got a variety of soaps at my disposal.

I wonder if there's a specific psychological disorder that makes a man underestimate the number of his soaps? If so, I've got it for sure.

I do that with shaving soap. I have enough to last me about 7 years at this point.

I do this with all toiletries. I'm in the habit of going to CVS and Walgreens every Sunday to buy more of what I already have. I have enough to last for months if not years.

when i was a teen, i went to rite aid and bought 4 sticks of deodorant, just to make sure i didnt run out. my dad made me return 3, he said i was wasting his money.

Which reminds me I have maybe a half dozen sticks of Old Spice, since they were on clearance - the scent was being discontinued. Then there's another half dozen of Degree as well, but I won't get into that one.

It is not like deodorant goes bad, you will eventually use it.

I have never held on to deodorant for years but pretty sure it can expire. The active ingredients will dry out and it will just be a chalky mess.
