I actually volunteered to be a poll watcher yesterday. was a pretty good experience - to think there was such a huge turnout even when the L train [the main commuter artery of this area] is down. i really don't care which side you're on... but its great to see voters really come out in force with tons displaced ones voting by affidavit ballots.

some of the trolls on facebook (on both right and left) have graciously begun to simmer down (one of the more notorious one's is actually quitting Facebook altogether) I'm happy for that person specifically because it was getting to the point where it was obviously affecting their lives negatively.

I brought the puppy outside into the snow and it shivered for about 30 seconds then started to play and run around gleefully. yellow snow was created!

Finally finished the Secret Santa assignments.
