Our bike room is in a building a block from my office, and accessing the shower requires that I find security and get them to let me in.

I finally found a church that I like; I'll join it on Thursday... the priest is pretty amazing. I met the dude at a party once, very nice / reflective individual. By far the most beautiful, traditional Catholic church I've been to in this city; seemed like a very diverse group of people as well...

May sound dorky, but whatever.

I closed a 2M deal today for next year. Clients even thought my token increase made sense and thanked me for giving them the proposal so early. I made very colourful slides to introduce it. Last year I was begging on my knees for less. And no one needs to get fired.

Im kind of done with looking for churches. While I do have faith, I feel that people like myself would get a lot more out of some sort of organized religion if each week was more of a discussion, rather than droning rituals. I think religion would be so much more interesting as kind of a "book club" format. It may sound stupid to some, but I think others might become more interested in all kinds of theology that way.

I feel like you towards traditional church going...

I did enjoy the social part of it and the social activities more than the rituals..

I have to say, I got more insight out of a season's worth of bible study than I did from decades of church-going. Whether that comes from the nature of the message, the speakers giving the message, or my approach to listening I cannot say.
