I'm not sure yet which direction I'll go, but, man, is it an ego boost to have a place that's coming after me, rather than vice versa.
Thanks, dude!

DO IT! Even if it doesn't work out, you'll kick yourself if you pass it up without even trying.

Yep. That's part of his schtick. We were all at an old friend's wedding when he rose to make a toast that mentioned a pump bottle of Lubriderm. He's impossible to hate, though. And thoroughly hetero. In fact, the wife and I ended up becoming friends with his then-girlfriend.

Good for you. I awoke at 4 this morning, so I went to the gym. It's mid-day and I'm feeling tired already.

Good luck with the decision. It's nice to be wanted.

Drink plenty of water/gatorade and walk around a bit, that will get you through until your second (third, fourth, whatever) wind.

Thanks for the tip. I tried it and it works indeed - I've had a very productive day.

just went to a engagement party for a friend of mine. and lo and behold, there were 2 guys there (twin brothers) that were in my class in elementary schoo, that i have not seen for probably 15 years. was very nice to catch up with them.

I've been in my office since around 1 or so working on a paper that has a rapidly approaching deadline. I really needed to get a lot of pages done today, and I did. In fact, I exceeded my most optimistic hopes. Now I am going to go home, talk with Genevieve about her day, and enjoy a port. (For myself; no port for Genevieve.)

About ten years ago I used to catsit for a cat named Stitchy. Now I talk to a cat named Stitchy on the Internet. Man, life sure is full of crazy things.
