This sounds like a scene from a coming-of-age novel. It would be hard to believe it actually happened in real life, except that Conne was the author of the post. That makes it believable.

Sometimes a person's name fits the person perfectly. Whit Stillman is one of those cases. And I think if Conne himself had been born with the name Whit Stillman, the universe would not have gone out of alignment.
