^ Ahh, I think I understand now. Eating foie gras actually provides a second, temporary liver to filter more of your booze.

I decided to try my hand at writing a Platonic dialogue for this post:

Socrates: Did L'Incandescent go to Saks today and buy a bunch of fragrances he's been keen to own for quite a while? Did he do that, I ask?
Fragranticles: Yes, that did happen, that is to say, he did do that.
Socrates: What do all things called "fragrance" have in common, such that they are called by that common name? This I ask you now.
Fragranticles: I know not how to answer that aright; they were in the fragrance section and are commonly understood to be "fragrances;" that was good enough for L'Incandescent.
Socrates: Well what is good enough for L'Incandescent is good enough for me, irregardless.
Fragranticles: I sure hope Neo doesn't leave the Forum, as he has hinted.
Socrates: He will return betimes.

Also, the video of the little boy who hugs the pinata instead of hitting it is making me happy. I get a little bit weepy every time I see it. (But weepy in the good way.)

No, Genevieve wrote that, even though she tried to deny it. Genevieve at full mental lucidity resembles normal people who've had a few glasses of port.

Congrats to those who have already found theirs, and best of luck to those who haven't!
Wish you both the very best. cheers.gif

great news. glad to hear you are all ok!

FLMM congrats man!

I had a garage sale today. we had 5 years or so of crap that we wanted to get rid of, literaly hundreds of small toys, pieces of clothing, big toys etc. all kids stuff. we ended up getting rid of every single fucking piece, and making a bit more than 600 bucks. of course, that is pennies on the dollar for waht we paid for the crap, but its better than giving it away, and we don't have to store anything or get anybody to come take anything away.

also, I feel good that I sold a whole bunch to some people who got great deals. I literally stoped some trucks of latin american guys driving through my neighborhood, garders and trash guys and some guys who looked like they worked for a contractor, and asked them if they had kids, and showed them the clothes. one guy I told him he could fill up a trash bag of boys clothes for 20 bucks. a couple of familites in the nieghborhood bought 50 bucks worth of clothing, too.

at the end, I had 5 bags full of stuff nobody wanted - 3 of clothes and 2 of toys. this pakistani couple came up, she was pregnant, I sold them the 5 bags, sight unseen, for 50 bucks.

I am really happy with the result.

Had a fuckin' blast at my co-worker's wedding tonight. It was opulent; free liquour means Conne is getting fucked up!

Her cousins are the Streisands, as in Barbara. Babs was invited but didn't attend, and I am disappointed.

Me and the bride. BB Golden Fleece suit, BB pink shirt, Panta tie, Allen Edmonds captoes.
