So this was kinda funny. I get an email from someone asking me to translate a couple of osha warning posters from English to Spanish. One's a two-pager, and my Spanish is really bad, and it occurs to me that osha does up bilingual posters. I go to osha's web site, download the Spanish versions, check to make sure they're similar, and send them back to the requester. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.

One thing I've been doing lately has made me happy: when I'm listening to music in the company of others, I'll emit a kind of knowing laugh or snicker. When others ask me why I'm snickering, I will scoff at them for not getting how the lyric was a sly reference to drugs. Here's the really fun part: I do that even when the lyrics aren't about drugs at all. I just invent quasi-plausible interpretations on the spot. For example like this: "When the Chairman of the Board sings about all that coffee in Brazil, he ain't talkin' about coffee, let's just put 'er that way, hee hee hee."

Now my friends think I'm wise to the ways of the world.

did a massive amount of work in my apartment this week - painted the kids rooms, put up 4 new bookcases, 2 new dressers for the girls, and two huge storage units with 25 large drawers each, for the kids toys. also hung a shitload of stuff from th kids walls and ceilings, and anchored all the various bookcases and shelves to the walls.

now we have a huge amount of organizing to do, but the end result should be a very neat home, I hope.

Marrying the absolute love of my life in about nine hours. Can't believe what a long, strange journey it's been. After almost twenty years of serial dating and many one- or two-year relationships, I knew I'd marry this girl aout 3/4 of the way into our first date. I always thought people that said that were stupid, or romanticizing the past. Love at first sight at age 35. I know it will be a long, sometimes tough, road ahead. I know I will miss the days of hunting, of lone wolfing, of a life free of the often baffling feminine perspective. I already do sometimes. But I also know ths is the best decision of my life. And I'm truly happy.

Congrats to those who have already found theirs, and best of luck to those who haven't!

I just used their standard one...CR7 beasted like 4 players to score a goal...he was not happy about that. Crosses have been working but coming in from the sides and drawing players in on the ball so you can pass diagonally back to a on coming midfilder works so much better in this game than it did in 11.

Try crosses. Easy scoring.

Also, you might want to change Coentrao for Pepe and maybe Modric for Khedira, but that's up to you. Also put CR7 as the left forward.
