I have never been a proponent of bulimia, Neo. As a world renowned neurosurgeon you should know the havoc this plays with one's body.

World-renowed is somewhat of an exaggeration but let's not get into that.

Another reason I'm happy is that I haven't smoked a cigarette in over a year. My willpower knows no bounds.

Really brought the thing back to life and made it feel snappy again. My morning email and weather check was delightful.

I did similar with a notebook I'd been using (and hating) for years, except I installed Win 8 preview and used a larger drive, it's nice again.

I basically use this thing like most ipad owners (who don't just play games) seem to use their ipads--screen's about the same size, battery lasts a long time and the performance is good...except mine stands up on its own, has a keyboard, and runs real applications (and flash!).

Edit: and to LawrenceMD's point, this was basically the first 10" netbook--it has served me well since mid 2008 and with this little update, shall continue serving me well. Compare that to an ipad2 user who is desperate for an ipad 3 and probably considers an ipad 1 ready for the landfill.

120mph/200kmh is nice steady progress.
I have to find the video of Walter Röhrl reviewing an Audi or Porsche just to tell us alongside that 155mph was his favourite 'relaxed' traveling speed happy.gif

lolz

i have only drove 120, once. it was only for a few seconds on the NJ TPK. not worth the trouble if you get pulled over.

Sometimes I wonder if I might not be Neo, as we share many qualities in common. We are both attracted to people of the same sex, for example. (Guys, I mean.) We both report conversations that many would judge to be fictional. Also, I live in St. Louis, while he lives in the city called "the St. Louis of the North." And we are both doctors.

But sometimes Neo gets chippy with pB, whereas I would never do that. So we are probably not the same. It was close, though.

The new fifa game is sick...and I beat my roommate 2 out of 3 games which pissed him off...But we spent a good hour crafting teams only to be disappointed when we went to use these teams and couldnt it automatically reverted back to the original teams...doesnt make any sense.

I played the demo and it seems pretty good.

It's ok. Obviously they had to add more random factors to make it an even more morale-driven random game so casual gamers can win too. But well, it's the same every year and one has to adjust to another layer of randomness.

The best part about Fifa 13 is, at least on PC, that voice is automatically enabled when you've got a microphone plugged in. I don't think all people are aware of that. I played vs two reasonable Spaniards yesterday who didn't tilt or something. Just the occasional grunt (out of despair, not pleasure). Looking forward to play versus someone who freaks out (although I'm not going to playing a lot of random heads up after tomorrow or so).

If anyone still considers buying it for PC, you can get it from Origin Russia (it's multilanguage) for 25€/32$ -- unfortunately it's no longer available from Origin India, where it was 12€/15$ a couple weeks ago. smile.gif
Russian proxy -> store.origin.com -> once you get to enter the adress, credit card information etc. turn the proxy off (you really don't want to send your credit card information via some random proxy). You won't be redirected to the US store (or you country's) once you've reached that step.

What do you mean? You can reset the squads.
Edit: Whoops, misread it. Where did you play? Some online modes don't support custom teams. And maybe some offline modes don't either (or you have to change it in the settings, idk).
