There is no way I'd live in Baltimore. The few summers I spent there as a kid were brutal, so never again. I won't even return to visit my relatives who live there.

Fang - car is 3 hours + nyc traffic. Gas and tolls is more than the train.

Had a fantastic time in the city.

Wonderful steak lunch at le marais with gdl and dopey. They even obliged be with a shoe circle, excuse the crappy lighting.

^^ yeah, its great to get away and have a day to yourself now again. thankfully, my wife is awesome and was cool with me escaping on a sunday. ^^

1. little twin girl scored a goal in soccer - big twin girl is pretty much better at all the obvious things, the little one is always struggling to do something noteworthy, so this was great

2. I was in BA on friday and had to be in Santiago tomorrow, so I took a bus across the continent, though the wine districts of both countries, and across the andes. it was very cool

It was a beautiful day today so I played all day: long walk this morning with the dog; 6.3 mile run later in the morning; stopped by the gym for a short workout around noon; watched football; went to a yoga class; watched more football; a somewhat long walk with the dog in the evening; and, more football. A totally relaxing day. biggrin.gif

I had a activity filled weekend with my kids.

Saturday- I ran practice for my oldest daughter's soccer team. Ran a few errands, met my wife and traded kids and took my youngest daughter to her first soccer game of the season, where I am the assistant coach. They lost but my daughter played and ran around the whole game. At her age that is a success.

Sunday- My oldest daughters soccer team won their first game in travel soccer 6-2. I was very nervous about this first game as I am the head coach for her team and I have been developing the training schedule etc. for her team. The girls played great and made me look like I know what I am doing.
From the game I headed straight into NYC to work to prepare for our fashion show this evening. Everything I was responsible for went off without a hitch. And, even though my new boss pulled a really dicky move on me, I managed to use my connections to get inside the venue and backstage where I belonged within 2 minutes of him trying to be an asshole. I was inside before he was. It sucks that I have to deal with his shit but I am enjoying fucking with him when he needs my help. I am always helpful and answer whatever he asks me though.

Haha....yes. My life is full of frustrating situations!

Speaking of au pairs I think my wife really likes the one we skyped with this morning. Cuteish, blond Swede.
