Are you at all concerned that they do inappropriate things with your less firm parts while you are under?

That is something I am not concerned about.

thanks JJ, as much as i dont want to be, i am back at the daily grind. at least right now it feels like a grind. i would much much rather be with my dad, aunt and grandmother, but ill be with them for dinner tonight, and spend time there then. with time, it will all get easier for me i am sure. sadly its not the first time i have lost a close relative.

On the 18th I was told that I would not receive an offer for a job at the company where I was interning, which was a pretty big blow - I was really looking forward to it, and everything was going right.

On the 22nd the managing partner who is responsible for me came back from a business trip, and told me that she absolutely did not agree with the decision, and was doing her best to re-open the process, got me another interview etc.

Today I got a phone call - I got the job after all. Still sinking in - so bloody happy. My first serious job, and I couldn't have wished for a better one at a better company.

On the other hand, my friend with benefits told me today that the benefits are gone. So that's a bummer.

I know a dentist who was convicted for it.

I'm still aware of what's going on when I'm getting the nitrous oxide. Certainly my awareness of things is hazier than normal, but I'd still know if something inappropriate was happening.

this goes into the whole generational thing that I don't understand. I can't even imagine how that conversation goes. I think that, when I was a kid and dating age, if you discribed that to me, I would have been completly disbelieving

I dunno...wouldn't it just sound a lot like "we need to stop doing this"

The FWB situation is a little odd maybe...but the conversations that end it seem pretty straightforward

Just picked up my new computer from the Apple store. Of course that makes me happy, as my old computer was really a dinosaur. But the reason I'm posting here is that two different employees there assumed that I was a student. I think I look my age, so that was a pleasant surprise.

If your dental hygeinist looks anything like mine, I'd pay extra for that!

I heard something like this from a friend at b-school, she was my age and I was just dumbfounded.

Speaking of, I'm posting from my recently-refurbished laptop - new hard drive and Windows 8.
