This must be very exciting for you and Mrs. Piob. Happy for you. When is the house warming for your SF buddies? laugh.gif

Surprise! A friend unexpectedly arrived on my front door. She is in a gallery opening (just down the road from where we live) tonight, clutching a 1 Litre bottle of Bombay Sapphire, "Garcon bring lemons, ice and bottle of tonic"

What? If everyone gets a dog from the pound, in 10 years we will just have dog, just like cats, no breeds or anything.

Apparently cats have breeds that our charged $1,000+ for.... But when I look at the pic next to the name with multiple colours. I think there full of shit. Almost tempted at snagging two cats and breeding to sell the kittens at pure breed. Make more doing that then flipping burgers.

Yeah I know Bengal, Norwegian Forest, Persian, but how many do you know who has one of those, most people just have a cat from a farm etc.

I have a Maine Coon, and have had a Russian Blue and a Burmese, had plenty of plain old moggies as well. I know plenty of people who have had pure breed cats. Dogs I've had a Springer Spaniel and a Doberman and about 5 mixed breed dogs. Most people I've known throughout my life with dogs have been more likely to have mongrels than pure breeds.

Yeah, it's hard to relay in typing, but it was one of the funnier things I've ever done. The whole class was laughing the entire time.

I can't believe I had the guts to do it. Oh, to be young and rebellious again...

Yup. Academia is very big on titles, and they usually carry significant meaning, even if it seems arbitrary.
