I got my winter coat. Its a schneider M65 style fieldjacket, wool/cashmere blend, navy herringbone, very heavy duty and warm (sweating in an ice cold room trying it on over a thin OCBD) some great cashmere lined kid skin gloves, a really comfy warm alpaca watch cap, and three barracutas, and my Herning sweater arrived today

Shit pic for non-MC use

The amish guy gave me a discount on him because his parents are larger than the standard (10-25lbs) at both 30lbs so he won't be dog show eligible. I like the fact that he's going to be probably over 30lbs. Toy dogs annoy me.

Awesome puppy!

I said earlier my power was out and had bunch of shit to turn in by 11:59 for class... Power came on a little while ago. So I jumped on slammed through the assignments and the quiz. I completed the quiz at 11:59, with 90% (No joke). Happy to have it done in time, about to have a heart attack.

I really hate this professor though, its an online class. She does not make an attempt at teaching you anything, unlike my other professor. She just says,"read this chart and this passage on PG.X, do the assignment and submit a detached copy." If she gives you directions, it's unclear with some spelling errors...  This class will be starting the 3rd week, as of now. She has yet to answer my questions from week one or even grade anything!

I am still new to college and Valencia... But who do we complain/talk with if we don't feel the professor is up to the job? I e-mailed and called her office...

The first step should be the chair of your professor's department. You should be able to find out who that is pretty easily online. Chairs always prefer conflicts to be resolved at the student-professor level, so make sure you emphasize that you've tried and failed to communicate with the professor.

Thanks,

I am going to send another e-mail and call to leave another voice mail, before taking drastic measures. I just hope if I complain no names would come up... I could see her holding a grudge. I also found a site called ratemyprofessor, her reviews are not so good.

I'm loving the meltdown JV is having in the unemployed graduates thread.

Particularily this gem where he is saying that he supports a system by which people who couldn't afford to go to college without any debt should be forced to go to trade school so that the mechanics labor prices on BMWs (owned by the people who could afford debt-free college) don't have to be so damn high!

Yeah, definitely try to work it out with your professor if that's at all possible. You certainly do have a right to complain, but it's also important to keep in mind that doing so could introduce another set of problems. You want to avoid those if you can.

Awww congrats.

Never understood why everyone has to buy a dog from the pound instead of a breeder, I got mine from one a his the best dog I've ever met.

Sitting at the new house, enjoying a coffee and the expansive views, waiting for a couple of install guys. Looking forward to Saturday morning, which will be our first wake up here.
