1. My 2 year old niece (who I haven't seen since January) asked my brother about me the other day, completely out of the blue.

2. It's freezing outside, and pouring down rain, so my GF, who has off today, drove me to work and is picking me up, thus saving me from my normal two and a half mile walk(s).

Annual merit raise at my day job was better than expected. Still on a crap wage, but such is life.

I just turned in a paper today, so I don't have to write another one for about a month.

I'm relieved. relief = happiness.

I'm happy I just snagged a really really comfortable office chair from the back room! It's awesome! My brother, who also works in the company, took my last chair while I was out of work for school, but this one is even better. It's got cushions everywhere on it! I'm so happy.

It's Friday and I am not working at all this weekend.

Currently, sour patch kids, and my new ipod. Yaaaay.

I think its endorphins that make me happy, but I've never really checked.

Actually, it's a neurotransmitter called serotonin that causes real, biological happiness. Endorphins are just produced during exercise/sex, activities that increase heart-rate, and overstimulate the body.

Yadda yadda. Going to TOWN tonight, that makes me happy too. I hope it doesn't suck.

I still do not know what makes me trulynl happy.

The prospect of an entire afternoon of watching basketball on the couch.

Sitting at a coffee shop playing with my new iPod touch. I'm even posting from it right now . Gotta love wi-fi.

On the walk between my apartment and the mailboxes, I usually encounter one of four stray cats (none of them being Brian Setzer). They are the most amazingly well-behaved animals I've ever met. I'm pretty sure most of the people in the apartments around here help take care of them. Anyway, whenever I see them, they want to play and have me pet them. That's what makes me happy.

One of these days, I'm going to take one of them home (after a trip to the vet).

It's 62 degrees outside in Annapolis, which I love considering when it gets cold I get depressed.
