First up, i really wish this fit me, the fabric is great. I would consider it a microhoundstooth, dark grey with white or light grey teeth, bearly visible pattern, but great 'texture'.
Colour is closest to the picture of the slacks taken in the kitchen, but its still darker in person
super 100s, fabric woven in italy, suit made in canada by samuelsohn for J.P.Tilford
single vent, 2 button, darted
pants are triple pleated, no cuff

Jacket
marked 39R

Chest: 42"
Waist: 40"
sleeve length: 24" with about an inch to let out
Shoulder: 18.5"
Length: 30.5"

Pants

Waist: 33"
inseam: 30" with about 2" to let out
Leg opening: 9"
thigh: 13"














Second, an Avanzata from Harry Rosen made in italy classic check with very faint red and blue overcheck, to tell you the truth, i couldnt even see the blue check until i saw the photos
100% wool
double breasted, ventless, peak lapel
pants are triple pleated, with a 1.5" cuff

I know the avanyata is unheard of but im wondering, how cheap does the samelsohn, an unfused fully canvased suit need to go before i get any interest?

It's Avanzata and used to be the Harry Rosen house label before they switched to Coppley. Used Samuelsohn suits do not usually have a very good resale value but perhaps with some more patience you can get your $50, or try eBay.

I think the sleeve length is killing you. Just a guess.

i re-measured the sleeves with the suits hanging

the samuelsohn is actually 24" sleeve with about an inch to let out, and the avanzata is 24.5" with at least an inch to let out if not 1 1/2 or 2"
