Yea that was what was confusing me, anyway thanks for at least trying to answer the question. Also thanks Jay-D, I'm going to save money to buy the WG Natural Indigo and maybe the Royal Cast

How many washes?

1 hot soak and 1 light wash in the machine without soap, then sun and air dried. The stiffness returned. The hot soak shrank them more than you would think for sanforized denim. They stretched out over time, more that I wanted, so I got the shrink I was looking for. The honey combs got shifted after that hot soak. All that said these jeans fit me better than any pair of jeans I've ever had. Weird Guy is my fit.

Thanks man, but they wouldn't be, if anything they would just fit more like a skg with a smaller rise. May just taper them a bit from the knee to the leg (.5) and leave the thighs alone and hope for some shrinkage in the wash.

whats the difference between these natural indigos and the natural indigos from before besides the 0.5oz difference?

i can see the visual difference but what are the actual changes?

I think the new natural indigos are also have organic cotton and dye which the older ones dont but I could be wrong.

29.5. The length is perfect but they're a size too small.

For those of you in the Toronto area this weekend. We're having a sample sale, lots of odds and ends, from seasons past. Plenty of sizes will be there from 28 - 38. The good sizes will go fast.

there isn't much talk about slim guys here....what is the typical sizing recommendation?  down 1, 2, tts?

seems like from the blue owl measurements they are vanity sized down 2...

also does anyone have fade pics or any fade info on the NEP selvedge?  thanks!

I have LHT weird guys but i want something a little lighter in color and a little more roomy so i'm thinking about grabbing the natural indigos.  I also saw kloop (i know, sorry...) has a few pairs of NEP  slim guys that might work for me.  is that denim a lighter color or is their pic just off?

Thoughts on tapering a pair of slim guys? It fits very well above the knee, but I'm starting to feel like the lower leg area is a little too roomy. Is it possible to taper the leg without making it look awkward or ruining the selvedge?

Anyone ever notice how Skinny Guys and Weird Guys inseams differ? WG's usually will have two vertically stitched lines running the entire length of the inseam opposed to the Skinny Guys not showing any stiching.

i guess a good way to describe it is.. Weird Guys have the inseam fabric stitched together layered one on top of the other (reason for visible stitching). Skinny Guys have the stitching on the inside. they take the inseam fabric and fold it inward, then it is stitched. if you turn them inside out, you should (theoretically) be able to see the stitching.

i know its nothing pressing and i don't have any questions, but i figured this was an interesting observation.

i posted mine a few pages ago with amazing fading and nobody seems to give a shit anyways, yeah tts if you want it to stretch out and become loose over time, size down 1 if you want a tighter fit
