They belong to Bahzad, and I'm pretty sure he's not too worried about where the combs end up. He started breaking these in a few days before Capsule so I think he decided to skip the soak. Dude goes through a pair every 3-4 months and like most of the denim worn around the office, these will probably end up hanging in the store or in the showroom.

I'm an MC guy but I've been keeping an eye out for better denim and I stumbled onto a pair of black selvedge slim guys this evening and they appear to be NWOT. There's no sign of them having ever been worn.

I got home too late to take pics of me wearing them but I'll try to put some up on Friday. Here's a pic of me in regular dad style Levis 505 in 30X32 which sit somewhat low on my hips as do a pair of 514's that I have.

I went through a couple of hundred posts in this thread to learn that I'd like to keep them but they're larger than I like and the hip flare problem is evident. I guess the question is, do I press on or just try to unload them on b&s? Will they get larger or can I shrink them down a bit without ruining them? I think the inseam is around 36" so there's the question of cuff, hem or stack them as well.

Any thoughts would be appreciated while I try to get a photo op together.

Thanks.

If I were him I wouldn't soak or wash at all and keep wearing them. I think they look great.

If he does a cold soak or cold wash, they won't shrink much. That's what I would recommend if he wants to keep the fades from moving too much.

Skinny Guy Elephant 2s?  How long have you had these?

^ Bazhad's one of the big dudes at N&F; him and Brandon run the show.  It's very likely that he already knows.

I just noticed that the Elephant 2 and 13oz Weird guy measurements are significantly different on Blue Owl. Is this deliberately done by N&F or just human error/slight variation among pairs?

Make sure you're not looking at Skinny Guy Elephant 2s as opposed to Weird Guy Elephant 2s.  Elephant 2s in both cuts have 2" more on the inseam, but Weird Guy and Skinny Guy have completely different cuts.
