I saw them at American Rag and thought they looked awesome. They have contrast stitching, which I wish N&F would do more often.

I have a question about the slubby. Do they fade? They're so dark.

Yeah, they definitely fade. I would say that they fade with more contrast than most N&F denims, thanks in part to the dark weft.

They fade. Very fast.

How substantial are the vertical lines when fading?
I was planning on copping some but I'm not a fan of the crazy vertical lines.

Can you explain how dark weft = more contrast? Seems counterintuitive.

You  guys think size 33 will be good? My quads are 23.5 inches though, calves about 15.5, and am 5'11" will this be an ok fit? (hockey player legs)

sorry about the noob questions, first raw pair.

Just saw these at a local store...in Canada though.

Yup and given that they eventually go down to $69-$109 at Barneys...

Still haven't gotten a response on the 26oz. How long did it take for you to get them once they shipped to you.

getting a first pair of raw denim, my first option is x Big John, but I got to go to a store and see what size I am first then try to buy a pair off here. Second option is buying the slub ones from the store. Which pair would be best as a first?
