LOL

The Big John collab is great. I think i saw progress pics of them, but want to see again..links? Also, not very familiar w Big John in general.

Also, anyone have the 24oz NF? I tried google but couldnt find many/any people w them

i saw big john stuff at uncle otis, did not dig the cut at all

its basically like wearing tights, they are too skinny i like slim straight

I don't understand what you're really getting at? The only difference in the Big John collab is the denim used..
Would have been easy to say that the weird guy cut is ugly.

If you want slim straight, you'll probably have to look at the Skinny Guy cut then. The Weird Guy cut is very tapered, and a lot of people don't like that. It doesn't help that in the picture of the jeans on the website, they are cuffed and being worn with big work-style boots. Both of those things with slim tapered jeans, IMO, accentuate the "tights" look.

Of course, if you don't like the Skinny Guys, then you would probably have to look at a different brand altogether to find something you like. N&F only makes 3 cuts right now, and the last one, the Slim Guy, is straight but not slim, in spite of its name.

Pm link to place that'll price match?

Are they just snow pants for winters? Or can they be used for boarding/skiing? Even the slim guys seem too tight to have enough maneuverability for sports

it all depends on your body type. I have a pair of slim guys that I love. they fit slim in the thighs and are more comfortable for me in the crotch area then the weird guy cut. The obvious difference is there is no taper below the knees.

With a 12.5" rise theyre gonna end up like the imperial shearers. I find a 10" rise to be normal, any higher would seem like dad jeans

The Weird Guy High is a limited run and is just a Weird Guy with a higher rise. Same measurements everywhere else.

The Regular Guy is a completely different jean and is similar to the Heritage fit from Paulrose Products, but sanforized.

What is your ideal cut that is tight but not too skinny? What brand and cut? I dont think the WG is too skinny; I think the SG is too skinny however. I can understand if youre not feeling the taper though.

To my understanding, these are completely different cuts. The Weird Guy High is just a Weird Guy with a higher rise. The Regular Guy is a completely different cut based on a 1947 501.

You are right, different jeans fit different body types differently. To my understanding, for the majority of wearers, the Slim Guy fits like a regular jean in the thighs and looser below the knee. If you have bigger thighs, though, they will fit slim there.
