Naked and famous denim - Page 254

I would like to buy my first pair if NF jeans and I wanted to know if you guys could recommend me a pair with 32 inch inseams. Thanks Lol okay so on a serious note, I live in Houston on and it gets hot and humid here. Is there a particular pant by NF that you guys would recommend, looking for something that is not extremely hot obviously. How do the jeans feel, are they uncomfortable until you break them in or is there no need to break them in. I am sure this has already been answered but I just wanted and updated response and im too lazy to search. How is the quality of the fabric? I plan purchasing 1 pair of NF jeans for the moment and it will be worn many many times, do they rip easily? When is the best time to get them on sale and from which online stores (or department stores)? Does the color rub off on your wallet/anything you put in your pockets/light colored under garments? What shoes do you guys wear with them? What do you guys thing about the glow in the dark pair, does anyone have any pictures of them glowing? Suggestions on a light leather belt that will "age" nicely below $50? Any advice on the denim would be great guys, and my budget is to stay under $200 and I like dark colors. O and it is a must that the inseams be 32 inches...lol Posted via Tapatalk

1. Linen / chambray / light weight selvedge. I haven't worn any of these, but the other members here have. My Frankensteins seem to be fine in moderately hot weather too, thinner than APCs I think. Different jeans have different break-in periods, obviously the 32ozs will be a tad more uncomfortable and harder to break in than the lightweight etc. My Frankensteins were stiff the first day, fine after a few wears. Not particularly uncomfortable before breaking, certainly not as rigid as a lot of other jeans.

2. Quality is awesome, no problem with mine so far, but I haven't been wearing them as hard as the other guys here.

3. End of season, mid season, depends where you get them. B&S if you can find them (I have a few for sale), or affiliate sites (eg. BlueOwl Workshop) or other sites, just Google them. Depending where you are, you can find them in a few malls.

4. Standard indigo stains on my shoes, but not on wallets/undergarments. Or maybe there are, don't really pay close attention.

5. Boots for SlimGuys because of the cut. Mostly sneakers for the rest, hitops lotops mids, the whole range

6. Awesome and I want to get them, but no pics from me and they're not out yet. F/W 11.

7. Tanner Goods

8. Practically all their jeans are under $200, can get them around $100 if you hit a good deal.

Cool thanks for the advice, I'm not big on the sneaker world so I will probably wear them with the classic chuck taylors. I will probably head to NM, SAKS and Nordstrom this weekend and see what they have. Posted via Tapatalk

IMO Jack Purcells are more comfortable and look better. I usually wear Common Projects/MMM/typical SF bullshit.

You could also wear desert boots etc of course

Do you think they are better than their regular indigo salvage jean? What would you say are the pros and cons to the organic vs. the regular ones. Obviously comparing same weight and color. Do the feel different? Do they fade differently? Posted via Tapatalk

I laugh at everyone who thinks I started this, and trying to justify things they said, just because "I have 18 posts" which isn't relevant at all, I may be new to this forum , but I'm not new to the internet, cunts. I realize now that what he meant was that all of them have (at least) have 34 inseams, I took it as all of them HAVE 34 inseams. Which is why I responded showing examples, and such. I apologize for that. But in regards to people telling me "correct and proper ways" of shortening the lengths of clothing, I don't like hemming as I stated before, may it be that some do and apply it to their clothing I simply just don't like doing it. So I guess Naked & Famous just isn't for me, ey? Oh yea I have 19 posts now so are my posts worth your time now?

I don't have regular indigos, so can't really compare. Basic jeans, I guess. Feel a bit more comfortable than my Frankensteins, and they look more standard-ish, if that makes sense. No significant fades, so I guess I can't really help, specially since I can't base it against regulars EDIT: IMO if you're not into the whole organic movement thing, don't really see a point to getting it. Nice alternative, I guess. And I picked them up for like $50 so yeah
