definetly a summer pant

Care to elaborate? Do they look/feel like straight up denim or is there a distinct difference other than the weight?

I posted these photos a few months before I sent those in. fade creases match up exactly to the ones posted. You can even see the faded part where the rip eventually formed on the back of the jeans.

Definitely the same fade pattern. The circular fade on the coin pocket is the most obvious. What made you give the back to N&F, gwydion? Seems like you definitely could have gotten some more wear out of them.

I have a pair of cashmere stretch but I'm wearing my natural indigos in priority. I might sell the cashmeres if they fade slower.

Sorry, should have stated actual wear. And after checking my e-mails for purchase date, it's actually 2 months since I've had them and probably 30 days or so of actual wear. Far from 3 months of everyday wear.

It's the crappy angle of the photos that I took. Too lazy to change my 70-300m off so I just took a photo from farther away. I'm 5'8" though.

I actually wasn't originally intending to give them to N&F. It tore on the back so I emailed N&F asking if they knew of any tailors in the Montreal region which dealt with denim repairs. I had it dropped off and received an email from them saying they want to keep it to display and they'd give me a pair of indigo camo selvedges in exchange(the one they did for Barneys Japan). I've been wearing these camo selvedges mixed in with other pants for 6 months or so. Will probably give a wash soon. I'll post a photo of them in 10 minutes if it stays bright outside. *EDIT Here they are.

I've never had jeans hemmed before, but I just got my pair of NFxMomo's back from being hemmed by Jay @ BlueOwl. I'm glad I got them hemmed as they were just too long and sort of looked goofy with the amount of stacks. (I'm 6'0'') Although I don't have anything to compare to (other jeans I've had hemmed), I'm very happy with the hemming that was done at BlueOwl. Thanks Jay! Guess which is original and hemmed, top or bottom... Top is hemmed, bottom is original.

Hah, thank you. Actually, I wasn't referring to how the photos were taken. I wanted to know your height because there doesn't seem to be any fading towards the bottom where the stacks would be. Did you get them hemmed? Thank you, Beautiful jean by the way.
Yeah I had them hemmed so there isn't much stacking. Kept them about half an inch to an inch longer this time around so you can see theres a bit more stacking present in the photos of my current pair.

And thanks.

Question about sizing:

My measured waist is 33 inches.

I've read that I should size down 2 for the slim guy fit. Does this mean from the tag or the actual waist. Because from what I've read the slim guy is vanity sized by two. Which would mean that if I wanted to size down by two from my actual waist I would need to get a slim guy labelled 29. Is that correct, or should I get 31?
You should get a 31 for the Slim Guys if you were trying to size down 2 (I know what you're saying with how they're vanity sized but people refer to the tagged size when they say size down)

My waist is a 33" also. I wear a size 29 SlimGuy Broken Twill.

they feel like linen pants, 'cept you won't look as big of a douchebag cus they are not white. i also doubt they fade nice so washing them often would probably not be a problem

Bought the linen today!
Feels pretty awesome. Being my first weird guy, I sized down and the fit is pretty cool.
$153CAD with taxes in montreal.
