the indigo cotton is originally white, so they dye it indigo, when the indigo is removed it goes back to white, you won't see red in them until holes are formed

No, they'll fade from dark indigo, to blue, to white. The red weft will show as they fade closer to white by giving the jeans a reddish cast, but the jeans won't fade to red, because on the outside of the jeans, you are primarily seeing warp threads, which are white threads dyed indigo, not the red weft yarns.

I'm not sure that the camo will ever really show on the outside of the jeans. I read that the camo is printed on the inside of the denim after it is already woven. If that is actually true, you'll only be able to see it from the inside.

red is the completely contrast colour from the indigo and you see how it only really shows through in bright light, don't expect too much from the camo's

Anyone have any pictures of the Elephant denim worn in Skinny or Weird Guy? What cut is the Weird Guy closest too the New Standard, and how much should one size down on the Elephant Denim. I have super scrawny llower egs.

They're still really nice jeans, and way more versatile than the red wefts, IMO, because they're a more standard indigo color and the red wefts are a blue that's almost black with red undertones. That makes it hard to pair with anything black, navy, or brown. Don't me wrong, I really like my red wefts, but those are the reasons I don't wear them as much as I could.

Besides, you never know. No one has had their's long enough to see how they really fade in the long run.

Cuff 'em and show of that camo.

That "almost black" color will become more blue as the jeans fade, then you'll be able to match it with just about anything.

There's an easy way to tell for sure. When you look closely at the denim on your jeans from the outside (not the inside), are the threads between the indigo threads white, or do you see a camo pattern in them? If they are white, then the camo is indeed printed on the inside after the denim is woven. If you can actually see the camo pattern from the outside of the jean (again, not the cuff or the inside), then wherever I read the printing thing is wrong.

I'm looking to snag a pair of elephant skinny guys in the near future as a winter jean. I'm looking for a pretty skinny fit, and I wear a tagged 29 in apc petit standard. Ive heard a lot of different ideas on how you're supposed to size the n&f skinny guy. Recommendations?

TTS is the way to go with the Skinny Guy cut. They run a little bit small, so TTS will be on the tight side until it stretches out. If you size down with these, you're taking a chance that you won't be able to get them buttoned up to start with.

And TTS with N&F means getting the tagged size 2 lower than your true waist due to the vanity sizing, correct? I'm a little less than a 32 waist, so the 30 would be my best bet in the skinny guy I'm guessing? Or could I try a 29 and run the risk of losing fertility? I do have skinny legs but that sounds like a bit much considering these won't stretch as much as my apc's.
