Naked and famous denim - Page 213

So I just bought a pair of Deep Indigo Skinny Guys (size 28), cold soaked for 3 hours, and....

I can't get any of the buttons done at all. There's probably a good inch or more between the sides for the top button, and the thighs are really tight. I've only worn them for an hour or so, but is this beyond their stretching ability? Should I have gone with a larger size?

I think you will be okay... That sounds pretty extreme but if you give it time you will be okay.

Just picked up a pair of skinny guy broken twillz and loving the fit so far. Went one size down and had to wear it around the house for about an hour to be able to do up all the buttons.

I'm leaving the top button undone right now so I can wear it a little lower. Here's the fit pic, let me know what you guys think.

Looks great but if you're gonna wear em that low get them hemmed.

I agree. Looks a bit too stumpy if you don't
post #3186 of 13309
do you guys think getting them hemmed will look better than cuffed? or maybe i should just wear them high
post #3187 of 13309
Do whatever you wanna do.

If you think you will cuff them a lot, then just do that. If not then get them hemmed, because they look pretty good sagged like that. Or not if you wanna wear them normal.

After trying them back on, I think it's simply going to be too extreme. So, I've got a pair of Skinny Guys Deep Indigo size 28 for sale. $150 USD, shipped. Cold soaked once for 3 hours, worn for 1.5 hours at home. I'll put a listing on the market in a about 2 weeks (after I get back from spring break) if I haven't had any bites by then.

I'm interested, though I'm not sure if I'm a 29 or a 30 now. Let me find a sizing guide and get back to you

the waist band won't stretch very much if you don't button it up and put some stress on it

I want the same cut, but something a little different. What do you suggest?

Is the broken twill a good option? I don't want the same color...or it'll be like the same jean? But am I stuck since it's just basically indigo?

You could give the new grey stretch in skinny guy a try. Should be releasing soon in most stores and already out in some I bet.
