Any suggestions as to which boots might work well with these?

I'm going to look closely at the stacking once more tonight but after the feedback I'm thinking of keeping them. I guess I just need to get used to the look of stacks on me. I only have one other pair of decent jeans that were pretty much hemmed from the get-go.

Thanks

I've seen a few pairs come up for sale here and there in the marketplace forum here and on Ebay. Since they are from a past season, you can't really expect any stores to still have them.

sorry to be a bit of a special flower but ive looked through a lot of this thread with differing answers... skinny guy broken twills in 32 fit me great. my true waist is 32. should i get them or try to size down (they are hard to come by in the UK, and the store does not have a 31). how much will they stretch? im a 28 in apc ns, for reference. thanks for any advice...

im 29 in ns(legs fit loose, waist ok) and 31 in broken twill is fine. 32 is to biiig

I'm a 28 in NS and wear a 30 in Broken Twill, though I could size up to 31 and probably be fine.

Realistically, no one can tell you how much they will stretch as no one has your body or wears denim at the same point on the waist. I can tell you that if you push it, it is relatively easy to squeeze an inch out of any waist. No matter what size you buy, if your body shape or habits stretch denim, you can get 2-3" out of a waistband.

The sizing advice to buy 1" less than your true waist is partially a safety measure when ordering denim online as jeans can have a +/- 0.5" variability. You can fix a pair that is too small but a pair too big is a loss. If you put a pair on and it fits great, then it fits great. I'd prob buy.

Do I have a major problem if I actually think this is kind of cool? Thing is, Burton did this but they were totally fake in a fucked up wash. N & F is getting closer to reality with these in terms of a denim to take on the mountains. My problem with these is that you'd have to really board a lot to make any impact on them and anyone who boards as seriously as that would probably opt for some real snowboard pants versus these. I still applaud N & F for continuing to push the boundaries however silly they might be.

IDK how much these stretch. Pretty snug now. Should I size up one?
