Cheers,

He'd come on SF for sure, they're really polite and humble guy's. The denim shirts coming for Fall 09 are the best I've seen in a while.

Gotcha.. I think I'm going to go back to Blue in Green in NYC and exchanging my vintage blue for greys + sizing down 1. Do you think I'll be okay if they are near painted on my thighs as long as they fit everywhere else.

Those blue ones don't look like the vintage blue either. The colour is lighter and the patch is different.

They might be womens. I asked the guy about a pair like that at capsule and he said he often gets asked why they don't make that color in a mens cut.

I've never actually done this myself, nor do I know anyone who has, but I'm sure Richard Cadet knows what he is doing.

"After you wash your jeans - and while they're still wet - spray starch on them. You can either lay them on a table and do it, or put them on -- depending on how hardcore you are. Rub the starch in, and let them air dry, and it'll give your jeans that rigidity that you loved about them when they were new." - Richard Cadet, owner of Famous Friends

Do people really love their denim to be so stiff? I've been wearing the weird guys for about 5 or 6 weeks now and they are finally starting to soften up. Finally. And I can't wait for them to get softer.

you could always soak denim to get some of the stiffness out without fading them too much.
