true to size means TRUE TO SIZE. if you have a waist 32, you get a waist 32. skinny guy tts are even a bit too skinny for me

yeah N+F seems to be true to size

Thanks guys, sounds like the 30 would have been a disaster, I might actually plan on having kids one day. Hopefully these come pretty quick, I want to have them broken in a bit before the really cold weather, i'm thinking the cold might make them stiffer than they already are.

i don't know about that.
i've tried on a lot of their jeans, anything under a 19oz weight, it was vanity sized.

i have a 32" waist and unless it was elephants or my 24 oz, i wore a size 30 for my 32" waist.

Haha oh man this is complicated. Ive seen measurements charts for both the slimguy and weirdguy and they both seem to be 2 inches larger in the waist then the tagged size. I havent managed to find a skinnyguy size chart anywhere, but I'm assuming a 31 in these will also have a 33 waist. I am looking for a skinny fit but not painted on, and my TRUE waist is 31.75 inches. However thats obviously not wear I plan on having the jeans sit. The apc petit standards that fit me very well are tagged 29 and measure ~34 inches in the waist. I think from what I've heard the 30 in the skinnyguy would be too small, and I plan on going with a 31 and letting them stretch. The 32 is probably going to fit fine at first but a little stretching might make them too big.

Unless someone comes up with legitimate measurements for these that cause me to think otherwise, I'm grabbin the 31 in these bad boys

I want some standard raw black jeans, gonna go with N&F weird Guys black selvage. I have an actual 32" waist. I wear a size 28 APC NS (slightly tight waist) , size 30 skinny 3Sixteen, size 29 Nudie SJ. Sghould I get a size 29 or 30 in these? Uggh, I fell like a damn noob for this post.

i think either would work, size 29 will get you a tighter fit.

i'm a 32" waist also, and size 30 is good off the bat, but i'd probably get a 29 to allow for about 1" stretching in the waist.

If it helps, my tagged size 30 Weird Guys actually measure 33 BiG style.

I'm a little less than a 32 waist, so the 30 would be my best bet in the skinny guy I'm guessing? Or could I try a 29 and run the risk of losing fertility? I do have skinny legs but that sounds like a bit much considering these won't stretch as much as my apc's.

Skinny Guys are not vanity sized. Weird Guys and Slim Guys are.

Sizing varies. Check blueowl or other websites that give actual measurements.

Perfect, measurements were just what I was looking for. Looks like the skinnyguy, in the broken twill at least, IS vanity sized by 1, as the waist is 1 inch larger than tagged. 31 it is, thanks.

N&F sent me the following chart for their slim guy model, but this seems a little weird to me. Does this look correct? http://desmond.yfrog.com/Himg18/scal...=640&ysize=640

The momotaro collab will probably have a cut very similar to their own 0705. But they're gonna be some 50 dollars cheaper, 1.7ounces lighter denim, and maybe have the N&F construction issues, if they're made on the same assembly line. Given the choice (and the money) i'd probably buy the momotaro 0705 for just a few bucks more. What makes N&F appealing is the price point and the cuts. This one will be a bit redundant IMHO
