The OP was talking about belts, sounds like you are talking about jeans. Anyway, oversized=vanity sized, they are two different names for the same thing.

N+F suggest you wear the silk denim without underwear, i wonder if they lose any indigo

i don't think anyone is suggesting that you actually do that, it's just marketing

Weird Guy Indigo soaking these puppies in warm water for 30 minutes to help the knee bulge and any excess stretching n shit - hopefully it'll shrink the inseams a bit because they are ridiculously long check it out (sorry for the crappy pictures - 4 weeks worn)

after a hot soak to ensure the fit however, it was so comfortable and soft.

how did you button up the fly? ive worn the 24 oz every day for 2 weeks and the crotch hasn't yet settled. It's also physically impossible to button the fly, as the holes are too small for the buttons to fit through unstretched, and the denim is refusing to budge. also fitpics please; you've mentioned them twice.

acl1 aren't your proud of me! I soaked my denim finally!! :P

good stuff halisray. And some good news(?), I think my inseam shrunk 3 inches somehow in the soak; maybe the same will happen for you?

Isn't the long inseam a good thing to show the selvedge?

I love the fit of the Weird Guys in the seat and thighs. I work out but don't have thunder thighs and it frames both the seat and thighs very well. The only problem I noticed was some knee bulge on my first wearing. I gave them a 30 min luke warm soak and they're drying now. We'll see what happens. The inseam is fine with me...I do a half-inch turn up and these should be fine for that. If the knee bulge settles, I'll be a happy camper. I ordered the 29 and 30 in organic indigo and already sent the 30 back.

Mine were knee bulging irrespective of if the hem was touching my shoes.

Yeah I know, I'm talking about soaking rather than hemming but I also found the inseam very long on top of the knee bulging was what I was getting at. How long does it take these to dry? they are hanging up in my bathroom at room temperature.. I guess overnight and all day 2moro.. oh well no rush

I'm very close to picking up a pair of these. How long does it take for the sheen to wear off?
