Naked and famous denim - Page 879

Forgive me if anyone has already posted this as I'm just looking out for you guys: ********* has a handful of NF denim and buttondowns on sale (http://www.*********.com/browse.htm#!VendorId=3721&Pgroup=1), plus they are all promocode-friendly to my knowledge so you could get 10% or 20% off even the sale items for the time being.

Okay my bad I wasn't thinking about the fact that styleforum would block karma loop. Just head on over to karma loop and go to brands and select Naked & Famous.

Hi everybody,

So I'm from France and the Naked & Famous brand is not that commercialised in this country so I would like some help for my first buy.

I usualy wear my denim in 28 size, wich is already very small, and if I refer to the Blueowl's measurements guide the waist band of my denims measures about 28,35" and the tighs from 9,45"  to 10"

But if I look to the Petrol blue Chino that I would like to buy in the Skinny Guy style the 28 size have a waist band of 29,5" so one more inch than my actual denims wich is in my opinion pretty big because i like to wear my denims thight in the waist/bottom area...

So what do you think that I should do knowing that there is no 27 size for this model so I cannot try to buy it and then replace it by a smaller size if I it doesn't fit me well..

PS : Sorry for my english :]

Well, I'm not entirely sure of what you can do. I don't have any experience with the smaller sized NF denim so someone may come along and tell you that it'd be fine to go with a 28. The only real piece of advice I can honestly think of is buy them and if they stretch out to be too big or if they're already too big when you receive them, just try to get them tailored and taken in. Taking them in that small of an amount shouldn't be an issue for any tailor. Of course, that's a bit more money as well so that option may not appeal to you. The only other thing would be to see if you can find a different pair/style in a smaller size or potentially a pair of the Super Skinny Guy in a 28. OR, put on extra weight haha.

Very sad because 2 of my Naked and Famous jeans have nearly worn out completely - will try to keep them going a bit longer:

Cashmere stretch (August 2013)

Glow in the Dark (May 2013)

The jeans are inexpensive and good value, but I'd rather not keep wearing out all of my clothes:-(

yeah but I have already looked the Super Skinnyguy style and they are not smaller than the Skinnyguy on the waist band... plus they don't propose it in petrol blue...

I thinked of tailoring it as well but it will cost me way too much, I already have to paye 30$ for the delivery and maybe more with the taxes...

I tryed to measure my waist band on a denim that a was wearing and found a different waistband size, it was about 30,30" so I'm pretty confused I don't know it will be alright... :/

Edit : I found an onlineshop who sells some N&F products and offer refunds so I bought the power stretch indigo denim to see if it fits me, I will give you a feed back when I will receive it.

Looks fine to me. What height are you and what's your natural waist size?

That's what we told me too..

my height is 5' and 4 inches, my natural waist size on the bellybutton area is about 28,5" and below is going up to 30"

I usually wear 28 size denims which fits me very well on the tighs/bottom and the waist, though I really like the stacks on the legs

They look good on you already, how skinny are you going to get?
Those do look good, but I imagine you know if the waist is wrong. If I bought a pair of stretch, that is what I'd go for.
