Where do you plan on ordering from?

Barney's. Those waxed ones are an exclusive.

Enjoy them - they look great in the picture!!

N and F are jeans that are fun, but use great Japanese denims at the same time.

I've got 3 pairs and am a big fan!smile.gif

I hadn't considered skinny guys at all. I thought the WG taper was more for a certain look than it was to match a specific body type. I'll check them out.

Unfortunately this is my second try with tate and yoko. I've already spent almost 50 in shipping. When I get my next pair, it will be 70 in shipping. I didn't know what I was getting myself into!

Damn.  For what its worth, most of the people in this forum have lost a little bit of change to sizing issues.  It is inevitable when you shop online.  I'm going to come out and say the jeans don't look that bad.  Raw denim is stiff when you first get it, but it softens and settles down.  While it is puffy now, after about two months of wear and a soak they should rest on your hips in a sag that won't look too bad (if you don't mind a relaxed/baggy fit look).

So you don't have to return them unless you really dislike them.  I really don't think they will look too bad once they start breaking in.  :)

They aren't really all that stf, despite being unsanforized, due to the heat press they give them. They shouldn't shrink more than an inch. I like the fit though.

aaaaaand first post.

I got the Okayama Spirit also, but in the superskinnyguy fit, i sized up two from my usual 30 in N&F to a 32 as they're unsanforized and this particular fit actually runs smaller than the tagged size. Anyway, i'm two days in and loving them, the 16oz is heavier than the usual 14.5oz of my other jeans and the stacks are actually rubbing me behind the knees because of the fabric's stiffness. Definitely not putting me off, the denim is super nice and i can't wait to see how they turn out.

Hello, I'm a N&F noob and a denim noob in general, but I own a pair of broken twill's. Can some one explain to me what broken twill means opposed to normal denim? Also I have my eyes on the black power stretch wash's because I want a black pair of jeans; I was reading the previous page and some of you think they'll fade. To what extent do you think they'll fade?

Those Arctic Selvedge jeans that just came out are a great color.  Check them out, they look tight.

If you do a warm soak and hang dry them, they will shrink down nicely - you should be fine the fit looks good.
