My friend says cashmere should be only used for knit, not for jeans. But I quite like the feel of it after few months (cotton and cashmere blends well, not sure it will last long though)

Would a 24 oz NF Jean be hard to hem? I'm quite short at 5' 7-1/2" so the approximate 36" inseam is about 4-5 inches too long for me. I don't want to hem them as the tailor might do a bad stitch job, but I don't see them fitting otherwise.

Hemming shouldn't be a problem I wouldn't think.

There are several places out there that can do a good job hemming heavyweight denim, but I don't think a run-of-the-mill tailor can do it, and none of the places that I know of are in Canada. If you are willing to ship your jeans to the US to have it done, I would recommend Blue in Green, Self Edge, or the Denim Doctors at the Hollywood Trading Company for a great hem. You can even have a chainstitch hem at these places if you want instead of the stock lockstitch hem that N&F jeans typically come with.

They made only a handful of those pairs, and they were over $1k iirc, so I doubt anybody on here has them. Might be wrong, though.

Yeah, I meant the cashmere blend slim guy (gray). Want comments before I purchased, possibly for 50% off. Thanks everyone!

After a wash, you'll notice fading a lot more. I haven't even worn mine all that much yet. I personally thought mine looked a bit flat after I gave them a wash
