Naked and famous denim - Page 828

In response to omgitswes,

you can probably find a k@rm a loop coupon to knock it down to around $110ish. I just learned about raw denim 2 weeks ago and with a quick search I was able to find one or two stores that sold weird guys at around that price. I luckily got mine at Nordstrom for 50% as a markdown and I live in a state with no sales tax on clothes. So I got each pair of weird guys for $72. I was lucky that the sale was going on right when I learned about raw denim and was interested in buying a piar. Ended up buying 2 pairs because they were on sale and ended up being the price of the one pair I was gonna buy anyways. I just wish it was a darker indigo but all in all I am glad I got the weird guys. I will be rocking these everyday to get some nice fades.

Brandon, the owner of Tate&Yoko, is also the owner and designer of Naked&Famous, so I'd bet good money that Tate&Yoko are going to be the last retailer to get details like that wrong.

Is it even a "detail"? It's just terminology. I'm clicking around on old fabrics and they all say "medium" rise so either you are misremembering or they edited all of their medium-low's to say medium or they replaced every pair in the store with a "new" medium rise. Right?

I've never dug into the site as it's kinda shitty, but I had no idea it was literally owned by N&F. I see they have measurements online, but it's just a generic chart, so that's no help, either.

Does anyone have a complete list of this season's releases of the new cut Slim Guy?

Have an indigo pair of Unbranded 201s and just wondering if it's worth also getting a pair of indigo Weird Guys, maybe the LHT ones... mainly just because I hear good things and want to try the Weird guys and well, because, why not? Is it a waste of money though getting another pair of indigos when I could add variety and get a brown pair or something?

I'm thinking of getting a pair of either super skinny guy or skinny guy in LHT but idk what size to get. I currently wear a 26 in APC PS but it's getting a bit too tight for me. I normally wear 28s in 511s. Should I get a 28 in ssg or sg for lht?

measure your apc's and compare to measurements on blueowl...

I've done what I should have done in the first place: ask directly. And, no, the Weird Guys still have the same fit.

Hi, first time posting here.

How would I fit in N&F's Skinny Guy Selvedge Duck?

http://tateandyoko.com/Naked-Famous-Skinny-Guy-Selvedge-Duck.html

I'm a 27 in APC PS (5'8, ~125 lbs.):

Should I get a 27 in the Duck as well?

And will the Duck stretch? Will it shrink with washing?

Sorry for the dumb questions.

Thanks. They're out of the solid black though, that's what I'm trying to find for under retail

@ masshi, im a tts, 32 in the skinnyguy. i took a 32 for the ducks too, but it turns out that i can certainly size down 1. the waist is considerably loose as well as the thighs. i still wear it though as it still look solid slim fit.

im assuming you're around a 29-30 true waist?
if so, i reckon you can do 29 in the ducks.
but to be safe, just measure your apc and compare it to the ducks measurements.

The pair you're eyeing wouldn't happen to be the one I'm selling on eBay (size 29) would it?

Sorry I need your help once more. I'm currently searching a new pair of denim as my japan heritage wg 29 got, unfortunately or fortunately, too big for me.

With the beginning of my search I thought about a pair of Super Skinny Guys LHT, cause I also wanted a slimmer look. I had the chance to try them on in size 29 and they fitted nicely. I could button them up without much effort and the fit throughout the leg was very good.
Unfortunately some of you guys said that the LHT would be "a step back from the JH".

After some research I stumbled over the N&F x Oni collabo (again) and love the fabric way more than the LHT.

I now compared the measurements of the LHT Superskinny Guys (a), the N&F x Oni Weird Guys (Pre-Soaked) (b) and my current Japan Heritage (c)

(a) have a 30" waist // 9,3" rise // 10,25" thigh
(b) have a 30" waist // 9,5" rise // 10" thigh
(c) have a 31" waist // 10" rise // 11" thigh

Actually the comparison looks pretty good but the fact that the Onis are unsanforized worries me. I read that these would stretch back out to pre-soak measurements after some wear but I'm not sure about it.

Can someone help me out and tell me a piece of good advice, it'll be much appreciated!

Get the Oni. Wear them straigh on until you need to wash.
Or just cold soak it.

Keep the Japanese Heritage that you have.  The JH is the exact same fabric as the Oni collab, only sanforized.  Look at the selvedge edges; you'll see that they are identical.
