How's the 10 oz lightweight selvedge? Just got a pair in dark indigo, so I guess I'll find out for myself soon.

is here anybody with a pair of left hand twills in the super skinny guy cut?

my problem is the following: Currently I wear a pair of Japan Heritage in the weird guy cut, size 29. (Un)fortunately I lost some pounds so they got too big. I'd also like to have a more fitted look so I tried on a pair of LHT in the super skinny guy cut in size 29 (they had no 28 in stock) which fitted perfectly in the leg but I could button them up to the top. They fitted snug but not that problematic.

I'm now torn between size 28 and 29. I'm afraid that the leg of the 28s won't stretch that much and that they'd end up looking like a legging and a size 29 which will be too big in the waist.

Has anyone any experience with the LHT? How much do they stretch and will they stretch noticably in the leg?

Due to the fact I'm from Germany they have to fit first try.

Thank you guys! smile.gif

P.S. here's how my JH fit to give you a rough idea:

i got a pair of LHT for my first raw jeans about  9 months ago. I am gonna say they stretched out WAY more than  I thought or read they would. Buying a 30 I never thought they would fit, I was a 32 in everything else after all I thought. Heck, I could not get the top two buttons done for a few hours.

I am now thinking they are perfect.  I say go with the 28

Thanks!

Can anybody tell me how the LHT fade in general?
I read that they are a lot softer..

LHT Fade really well.... I love mine, same as the previous poster they were my first ever pair of Raw Selvedge denim - and also, I got a Sz. 34, and they stretched to basically a 37 at the waist and are a bit big in the waist now (a belt is a must).   But overall I still absolutely love them, I have some older fading pics here :

I think that's about 18 months of wear for the May pictures if memory serves me right - and they are looking ever better these days.

what are the really blue unfaded ones in your album????

Have they changed the rise on the Weird Guys? On Tate and Yoko, they used to call them "medium-low" rise but the newer jeans are all called "medium" rise now. On the actual pictures, they also seem quite different: for exemple, the new Brown Chinos vs the older Beige Chinos.

I would really like to know because the pair of Weird Guy I tried back in spring was a no-go for me because of the ruse and I went for a Slim Guy instead (the gray cashmere denim, which I love, though I just had to remove that red patch). Since all the more interesting materials seem to make Skinny or Weird Guys, it would really broaden the buying possibilities.

So, anyone wants to help make me a bit poorer? ;)

I'm not saying this is a bad question, but a flat shot and a 3rd party website terminology change doesn't necessarily indicate anything has changed. Jay will surely ferret out any change in the cut.

That's the thing, had it been another store, I would not have even asked, but Tate and Yoko is A) N&F official retailer and featured prominently on the N&F website and B) I am pretty certain that they are not third party: on N&F they called it "our brand new retail concept boutique"http://www.nakedandfamousdenim.com/blog/new-retail-store-tate-yoko/
