Anyone else get those vintagecast jeans? Any fade photos? I'm working on mine pretty hard, just want to see if I'm off to a good start

Latest pair of weird guys - 15oz "vintage blue". Been looking for this wash for 2 years since first spotting it on the N&F website.

They haven't stretched out as much as my Dirty Fades. I'm interested in the E3s too and I want to know what size to get. Was thinking of sizing up, but, like I said, was advised to get my usual.

Dirty fade weird guys are 1" bigger in the waist than deep indigos (weird guys) of the same size. Check blueowl. Learnt this the hard way after wearing my pair for 5months straight. Didn't know about blueowl back then. They stretched to infinity and are parachute pants now.

Can anyone speak to sizing on the Big Slub slim guys? I've gone with a 29 for most pairs, but I had to go down to a 28 on the pomegranate WGs and I've heard that a couple of other models run a little on the large side.

Just received my first pair of N&F jeans from Jay at Blue Owl. I ordered the LHT in size 30. They are pretty tight in the waist upon initial wear, but Jay told me they will stretch 1" in the waist and .5" in the thigh, so I should be good to go once they stretch. I really like the looks of these. (Thanks for the help and quick delivery Jay!) fing02[1].gif

The LHT N&F were my very first pair into the raw denim world (If you look in my post history I should have a couple fade pics....) and to this day are still some of my favourite.  They faded perfectly the way they wanted, I had no blowouts or tears even riding my bike on them a reasonable amount and they stretched out a fair amount without looking baggy or silly.  Hopefully they work just as well for you!

Thanks!  I found your pics, and those look great.  The LHT are also my first pair of raw denim.  Jay recommended these since I am coming from mall brands like Diesel and Seven and said they would soften up after a number of wears.  Honestly, it really struck me how much "rougher" raw denim feels initially when I put them on...it was like wearing paper.  I'll have to break these in quickly.  I'm still hoping that 1" stretch will work perfectly, since they are very tight around the waist (in particular) and thigh right now.  I can button them, but boy it's not easy lol.

They were my first pair too and don't worry about the stretch! I got 2'' out of them... and the funny thing is, they were already a bit roomy in the waist when I bought them. They just stretched until they couldn't anymore.

Okay, that's good to know.  I appreciate it!  As Jay said, I just need to wear them around the house for a day or so to loosen them up.

I have the weird guy cut and they run True To Size. I normally get 34"s, but The Big Slub was too snug.
