Eh, not washing for 3 years is essentially the same as not washing for 13 days.  Old report, but:

For sure washing them is the right way to go.  If you're super worried do it delicate cycle inside out with Woolite Dark and hang dry them right away after...  but really they will be fine no matter what, like some others have said they are just jeans in the end.  You gotta wear and enjoy them, not stress about when to wash them and shit!

This clearly comes from someone who has not smelled jeans that haven't been washed for a year, much less 3.

Bacteria wise I agree with Jarlean but if your jeans smell like swampy ballsack, wash them.  I get the whole freezer thing, but just wash them.

The sweat glands in that part of the body secrete waste and toxins . Bacteria feed on fats and protein . Do the math . Sounds like you got your own little petri dish going

Any idea how these fit? Biggest they have in stock is an 11.5 and my true size is 12.5, but I don't know the brand and so maybe they fit a size big, or perhaps a size small.. hopefully not.

Edit: Nevermind, I guess I should learn how to read further down the page where it says they should fit a full size larger... My apologies.

Your denim your rules! I'll share mine anyway, this has maybe 2 months of total wear with 5 to 7 washes already. I want my jeans to fade so i wash my jeans as often as i want.

and i use arm & hammer powder detergent, what the heck with expensive detergent when what i only want is a clean and faded pair of jeans. that's my rule and it works for me lol.

Ordered E3's from Jay in size 32. My true size is 32. Wish me luck.

I have not worn anything for 3 years straight, but I use a sauna often and my perspiration has very little scent as a result. The longest I've gone without a wash is perhaps a cumulative 6 months and they have little to no smell.

What this really means is that after 13 days you've managed to saturate your pants with enough bacteria that adding 3 years would hardly make a difference.... This is more of an inspiration TO wash your clothes regularly

Germophobes should probably just skip the high contrast fade thing . Seems to cause a lot of anguish

Will the duck selvedge ones stretch much? I wear a 29 in APC PS and was wondering what size would be best to get in the Duck Skinny Guys. Sorry if this has been previously mentioned but none of the posts on the Duck Selvedge have been very recent.
