That's the goal, but I have already lost some in the past few months and my momentum is slowing down a bunch so I'm not sure I will lose any more size around my waist. Tough to say, but I'm going to try. Thanks for the input, appreciate it. Just trying to make sure my $175 doesn't go to waste.

Hey Guys its going to be my first pair of Raw Denim Hopefully if i can get a few things sorted out.

First I am a big boy and i wear a size 40 in Levi 501 STF comfortably even with a little room.( i Could wear 38s but only after a soak) My lower body however is an athletic build I have large thighs about 26 in around crotch area. I have like 18 1/2 in Calves. I really want to get a pair and i understand that Naked and Famous make Weird Guy in my price range that fit in 38 40 and even 42! Of course im excited but i want to see with you guys first if it would be too tight for me to go with like a 38 or maybe a forty, mainly for my thighs. What would any of you suggest?

Well after summer right? Ughhhh i just got my first paycheck and i wanted to get a pair of jeans hahaha. Thanks Man if you have any info please post it in regards to their new material.

Id say stick to Levi's STF's or loose some inches in the waist...
not tryign to make fun
and if you check this thread a couple pages back theres a slew of new shit coming out, if not check Blue Owl's blog..they always post N&F stuff... almost exclusively and before N&F do themselves

Edit: in terms of fit people usually go 1-2 sizes down, but that could change with the bigger sizes(36-40) so if you like 40's you may want to try on a 38 theoretically. Its a bit harder to tell since you're a bigger dude... 40 might suite you too.. lol im no help

Nah i get what your saying i just wish Tate and Yoko didnt have that WACK return policy i wouldve bought 38s and 40s. Maybe somewhere in San Fransisco has some stock of N&F that i can go and try on. You say they will stretch around the waist? How about the thighs?

I pulled up the return policy to double check and I think you are right - 14 days is just too much on top of store credit only.

Here is an option to spend that money of yours. They should fit your thighs fine.

Im going to wear it around the house for around a week to see how it stretches. Dont really want to return since Gilt will only give you store credit. Its softer than regular raw denim but its definitely not sweatpants or cashmere soft, but it is a lot more comfortable especially if youre going for a tighter fit.

The smell on my broken twill skinny guy's is becoming too much. I've tried freezing but it's still not enough. I waited a month and a half before washing, but that was 3 weeks ago. Is it too soon to wash again? How often would you wash a pair of jeans like these?

I want to wear my jeans over the summer to keep breaking them in, but I might have to put them on hold because of too much swamp-ness :(

They're just jeans, wear and wash them as you need to.

If you dont want to wash, just give them a cold soak with some woolite dark inside out.
