Naked and famous denim - Page 728

So just to be sure, the WG Double-sided Camo aren't going to stretch very much at all right? I'm usually a 30 so I went with a 29 and they fit perfectly in the waist - just tight enough that a belt is completely unnecessary. I would prefer them to fit slightly slimmer in the legs so if they waist is going to stretch I'll exchange them for a 28.

I also got the SG Black Power Stretch in a 29 and the fit in the waist is the same - just tight enough that I don't need a belt.

Both will have to be hemmed significantly though - at least 3-4 inches. I'm only 5'6 so they are very very long, I was expecting that though.

If I can get my hands on a decent camera, I'll take some pictures.

Finally grew a pair and gave my N&F x ONI a hot soak. Couldn't believe how much they softened up due to starch loss. Also, I thought they would shrink a lot more than they did.

They'll Stretch more if theyre tight. I went tts on my D.I WG size 29 and I don't know what they measured new but they now measure 31. They were a little tight new since they were stiff but have now loosened up. So in all they really haven't stretched even tho they feel like it.

I've heard that the SG Indigo Power Stretch barely fade at all, is that true?

I don't know, but compared to other denims probably not since they are most likely a lighter weight and not 100% cotton because of the stretch fabric, elastane I think.

Theyll fade..ive seen some nice Levis rigid dragons that have elastane in them come out really good.

Finally washed my N&F jeans. I soaked them in the tub for about an hour, with a small bit of non-discoloration woolite.

Now my jeans are super soft. They feel lighter/cheaper as well, as if i was wearing some 7 for mankind or something. how do i go about getting the rough/hard/tough feel of raw denim back?

Looking for a little help with fit for the weird guy style.

I recently purchased a pair of AG Protege and a pair of 7 Austyn both in size 32. Based on the size chart here: http://www.tateandyoko.com/1-jeans/49-naked-famous-weird-guy-indigo-selvedge.html and the measurements I took off my pair of AGs I think the size 32 would fit but I am just looking for any other input.

Raw denim softens over time, certainly after the first wash. It's only rough and cardboardy for the first couple months. You could try to re-starch them, but if you want them to stay rigid you'll have to do it all the time.

My pair of red cores that I bought from kloop are much stiffer and tighter throughout than my basic indigo WG's. I believe they are sanforized, correct? If I did a soak right now (hot, cold, or lukewarm???), would that soften them up so they might fit a little better/more comfortable? Also, will the fact that they are sanforized keep them from doing ANY shrinking? They are already very tight, can only get 1/4 buttons and they are very tight through the leg, especially the thigh, so if they get tighter then I don't even think I'd be able to get them on. Oh, and since I'm not really sure, does anyone know if red cores stretch less than most other WG's? Because I've worn them for around 6-7 hours and did some stretching exercises, but I haven't gotten any stretching yet, except I did bust one seam on the buttons that I will need to repair. Wondering if I need to try and size up or if I'm just being impatient haha. If anyone does recommend a soak, let me know your recommended process for what I'm going for (Softer, NO shrinking, and of course minimal indigo loss)

Sounds like nothing fits LOL maybe the red cores run smaller than usual so sizing from how you sized your indigos made them this tight

Bought a pair of Skinny Guys in Indigo Selvedge Wash on KL but on further inspection I can't find any Naked and Famous denim in "Indigo Selvedge Wash." Does it look the regular Deep Indigo and KL just changed the name?

Looking for the N+F weird guy selvedge chino in beige on sale...I've looked at several sites but can't find it. If anyone has any clues I'd appreciate it before I sink full retail for it.
