um, I got tts because a member of this forum was selling them for $150 new with all tags attached and it was too good a deal to pass up. at the time I weighed about 63 kg (a bit tubs) and they didn't even get up past my thighs then decided cut back to 58 and they fit pretty good now. i could lose a few more pounds but i eat too much. whatever. new years resolution?

 

the texture is god damn amazing and I can't wait to see how mine turn out in a few months / a year. I really hope these japanese models (oni, fh2) I bought last more than a couple years each.

Are there any fade pics of the Oni collabs around?  Someone's selling them in my size for a good price, but can't decide on that or the left hand twill.

i bought weird guys in LHT sz 30 i wear 32x32 in 511s is this good or will it be too small, will it stretch out and be fine?

My naked and famous LHT stretched from 35'' to 37''! So make a count for 2 inches stretch in the waist.

@Alwaysraw: How is the soldier with the 32oz's?? Did his legs fall off because of the denim or is he killing the 32oz beast?

How many sizes down do you guys go with Naked and Famous Weird Guys? I am a 34 and currently have 33's. They are loose in the waist (after 1.5-2mo wear) and have about .25-.5" of room in the thighs but were really tight when I originally bought them. I think 32's may fit better when fully stretched... but I could barely button the 33's (at first), seems like the 32's would be near impossible to button up.

im having the same problem as you, i am a 32 and bought a 31, i think that you maybe should try 2 down, it may be impossible to button at first but should stretch , you can button all you can and leave the top one open. walk around the house and it should stretch like that. my 31's are tight in the thigh area but loose in the waist, im hoping a soak will shrink it down closer but i am beginning to think i shouldve sized down 2 instead of one.

Actually the Glow in the Dark WG sold really well! Lots of girls were jealous that there was no womens version. So for this season, N&F made a stretch version that women could enjoy. Since it was stretch, N&F decided on SkinnyGuy fit. Perhaps there will be more WG glow in the future, but no plans as of now.

Most men don't know their true waist due to vanity sizing.

When you fellows say you wear a 34 or a 32, have you actually measured where your jeans sit or are you going by tag sizes on other pants?

Here is the Weird Guy sizing chart taken from Tate & Yoko, stating that these jeans are vanity sized by 2.

I am not familiar with raw denim, but when researching a potential N&F purchase I was told to buy at least one inch smaller than my true waist to account for stretch.  I made sure to clarify that (for Weird Guys) this meant three sizes down from the tag size.  There was no misunderstanding.  If the advice I was given is accurate, a true 34 should order a 31, and a true 32 should go with a 29.

According to the chart, both of you sized up by one.  Neither of you should have had any trouble with this waist size.  MNengineer, since you reported that they were tight in the waist on arrival, either your body measurements are inaccurate or the sizing instructions I was given were very misleading.

Hopefully someone better informed than myself will respond, but in the meantime it would be helpful for you to verify your actual waist sizes (where the jeans sit) and to measure your Weird Guys at the top to see what they've stretched to.

Edit: I seem to have misread RicPac's post to say that his were tight in the waist as well.  Apparently they were loose in the waist on arrival but tight in the seat and thighs.  This is consistent with the advice I was given.  Incidentally, the limited upper thigh space is the reason I'm looking at Regular Guys instead.

For weird guys I size down 3 from the tag size. However, as with anything else, always check the measurements.
