the wierd guy LHT:

32s = 34.5 waist

33s = 35.5 waist

34 = 36.5 waist

ofcourse this is as new with no stretch ... i wear 32s in most everything ... but i know its all vanity sized

i ask because the E2s are 36" waist i know i havent stretched em and they fit just right - read no effort to put on (havent worn enough to break in at all)... i know the pants will give and stretch, i want to avoid needing to start over yet again .. most people size down 1 atleast with N&F and i always didd, but with LHT ive heard they stretch more than normal ..

I will no doubt get 33s if not 32s .. i know the 32s will work in a few hours, but I worry that the slightly smaller legs will be bothersome and too much like some other pants i already have ... 33s may be the default, but I do fear that the waist will not need to stretch..

in my experience, not only do the N&Fs stretch a GOOD amount, but the measurements from the company are slightly smaller than reality as well ..

thanks for the input .. but I know i need 32-33 since my fav fitting jeans right now are 35" waist .. just need to decide (perhaps my measurements arent as tight to the skin as I wear pants, or perhaps im measuring a little too low and this is throwing off the argument?) ... also ive lost a lot of weight so some of the skin is soft and im sure that plays a part ..

Why don't any denim producers have silk in the waistband?

Silk doesn't stretch and then you don't need to worry about which size you should pick,

and you can choose pants that are TTS.

Patrik Ervell has silk in the waistband, and it works!

That hole looks pin sized, I have no idea what all the panic is about. I put maybe 5 or 6 holes in my NF in about 4 or 5 months, in the front and back, not directly on the bottom like this pair. It's not a big deal, just soak and move on.

Mine broke down so fast because of activity, the sweating kind. But after only using them for normal wear the holes are not getting any bigger.

I have followed this thread for a while and I have never seen fade pics of the Indigo Selvedge. Apparently, they're pretty hard to fade but I was wondering if anyone had pics?

I am debating on going from a 33 SKINNY GUY into a 33 WEIRD GUY. I did think about going to a 34 SKINNY GUY, but I don't know if this denim stretches too much or too little?

Any body can give me some help?

My 33 SKINNY GUY w/ a 9.75" RISE was a bit too tight for me, like skin tight. I feel like I'm more of a WEIRD GUY though, but I don't want a relaxed look. I want minimal taper.

Btw, what to do w/ old denim?

Thanks.

They are extremely hard to fade. I saw a guy who wore a pair for 2 years and they were barely faded at all. They do get an electric blue hue to them but in terms of contrast there isn't much going on. It's a good pair for people who wear jeans formally and don't want them to get that washed out fade look.

I got the same measurements as you! I took the 34 skinny guy (left hand twill) and it stretched a lot! 33 skinny wouldn't fit.

Check out my first day fit here. I definitely gained some inches in waist and upper thigh now 5 days later (no pictures yet, coming soon). Though I'm very happy with the fit now, it's more comfortable with the extra space.

Also, instead of just posting a link, why don't you post your fits and fade pics right in the thread here?

Wearing a Naked & Famous ''Left Hand Twill'' skinny guy. 24/7 and i'm at day 6 now.

Here are my fit pics of day 1. Fade pics as soon as there are fade. I think that will take a while (too bad)

Your jeans are fine, even with a hole it would take a long time to fully blow them out with normal day to day wear. I kept up with a lot of athletic activity with decent holes and they didn't blow out. I did stop at a certain point though, so I could go get them repaired before it was a mess. If it makes you feel better I can post a pic of the damage on my NF, it will add some perspective.

THANKS!

Would you mind telling me where you got?

I wonder if there's a big different between skinny guys though. I know there's a difference, you have measurement?
