@ mikey. I think you missed the point of having raw denim. You pay a premium for good jeans, say around 150 to 250 for this forum, and the idea is to wear them for as long as you can to get good fades and honey combs (the fades on the back of the knee area). If you wash them to soon the time you spent on the jeans will be wasted. Meaning, the fades will be weak or worse. So now you will have not got the satisfaction of spending good money on good jeans. I have the feeling you may know this because your a member of a forum that is devoted to the workings of raw denim. Maybe you are just being a dick because the jeans own you. You want someone else to treat denim the way you can't. Your'e like screw it, they are just jeans that cost a lot of money go ahead and waste your money and time, I would if I could but, alas I can't because I have stockholm syndrome.

Ironically I used a toothbrush on them. Dipped it in a little water, shook it out so it was just damp, then slowly/gently scrubbed over the area. I'm hopeful in another month or so the fading of the whiskers will be progressed enough to direct most of the attention away from the spot.

Old, but anybody have feedback on the weird guy high?  I think I've seen 1 fit pic...ever.

The rise seems a little overboard but I have a proportionally short torso compared to my long legs (at 5'9.5" lol so all relative here).  Also got a little bit of dat ass from squats, along with some wide girly hips compared to my waist measurement.  Not fat, not legitimately lean for now either.

Seems like it'd be a fit for my body type, but I don't really know.  Only other comparable model I can think of is the Imperial Shearer (lol hi 2009)

Hi all, considering getting some nice raw denim. I was thinking about going with N&F (though, I could be swayed) but have some questions about fit.

I normally wear Levi's 31x30 511's (which are pretty much threadbare now, and I unfortunately can't find a pair just like them) or Empyre super slim jeans (they call them "punk rock paul") in 30.

Here are some pictures of the Empyre fit, which I'm pretty happy with. They are quite slim, but not constrictingly so. The jeans are 1% spandex, so maybe they wouldn't be as comfortable without that. Sorry about the blurriness, I don't have the steadiest of hands. The third picture shows my waist so you can see the rise that I prefer.
 

I have the opportunity to buy NWOT Weird Guy 29's for pretty cheap. So I'd like to know if that fit is similar to what I'm familiar with. Thanks in advance!

they look strange imo, maybe its just an unflattering body type to have them on and since you said youve got glutes it might be better, but I think they look awful

Those look pretty slim to me, skinny guy seems like that would be the fit your going for but the sized down weird guy works also if your legs are decently sized

Shirt is also tucked in which affects the look. Wearing untucked may make it better

Yeah, I'm debating on whether or not to pull the trigger...unfortunately doesn't seem likely at full price.  Shame any other fit pics pretty much do not exist.

Just figured they'd be mad comfy because of all that rise space lol, which can be a problem for me cause of my awkward hips.  Maybe if they go on sale one day...
